How tall should pool fence be for the saftey of your kids, family and neighbors in Charlotte, NC or anywhere in america?
We recommend 54" in height for ground level pools. This is mainly becasue in though pool code may be 48" in height, to really add some extra protection the 6" higher fence will keep out 74% more unwanted guests than the 48" fence will. the extra 6" makes it even harder to climb, harder to get your leg over and pivot over the fence. Most small children who are in danger of drowning are in fact under 5' tall.
